Home >Exhibitions >École Supérieure d’Art d’Aix-en-Provence >RADIO GRENOUILLE 88.8 Fm

One frequency to make yourself heard in Marseille, and many webradios to be listened to everywhere else, a set of events and meetings with different people in different places, practice workshops, downtown and waterfront parties, the artistic creation workshop Euphonia…
Radio grenouille is a media and all that at the same time.

During the Gamerz Festival, Grenouille becomes a stage and an exhibition place, just for the sake of your ears… Let’s discover the radio and the radiophonic art works of the artists that are part of the festival.

The complete programme soon to come on :

Radio Grenouille soundwalks

The equipment is available on demand at the Gamerz Festival reception desk, located at the Ecole Supérieure d’Art d’Aix-en-Provence.
Take your headphones, mobile phone or MP3 player and let your ears guide you …
Some artists, documentary makers and residents have been composing these soundwalks to share their place, Marseille-Provence territory, with you, through unknown and offbeat places.
Soundwalks should be listened to in situ, within a chosen place and situation.
They propose a sound journey linked to the walk, a survey that allows you to slow down the pace, to change scales, to explore the interstices of the city, its uses and the traces of its past.
One may hear natural sounds, inhabitants voices, fictional characters… stories that tell, document and give a musical and poetic voice to the landscape.

Lend the equipment at the welcoming desk

Lend some headphones and free mp3 player/ smartphone for free, and choose one of the 3 soundwalks located nearby during the Gamerz Festival :
> C’est fou comme on se ressemble, by Xavier Thomas : a walk through the Montperrin Hospital park
> Grand Paysage, by Agence Touriste : a guided tour through your own emotions as a walker, in a peaceful and unknown place.
> Fiction corporelle Marseille : se sentir aux dimensions de l’agglomération, by Boris Nordmann : a static walk to visit different states of your own body… wherever you want.

Let’s contribute !
The soundwalks are autonomous projects within a big collective project that builds a new map of the territory. You are invited to take part to the project by reacting and sharing your experience of the soundwalk and/or publishing your own sounds, images and videos.

Have a great walk !
