The equipment is available on demand at the Gamerz Festival reception desk, located at the Ecole Supérieure d’Art d’Aix-en-Provence.

Some artists, documentary makers and residents have been composing these soundwalks to share their place, Marseille-Provence territory, with you, through unknown and offbeat places.
Soundwalks should be listened to in situ, within a chosen place and situation.
They propose a sound journey linked to the walk, a survey that allows you to slow down the pace, to change scales, to explore the interstices of the city, its uses and the traces of its past.
One may hear natural sounds, inhabitants voices, fictional characters… stories that tell, document and give a musical and poetic voice to the landscape.

Lend some headphones and free mp3 player/ smartphone for free, and choose one of the 3 soundwalks located nearby during the Gamerz Festival :

The soundwalks are autonomous projects within a big collective project that builds a new map of the territory. You are invited to take part to the project by reacting and sharing your experience of the soundwalk and/or publishing your own sounds, images and videos.
